Speaking of expenses, I am getting married in 5 weeks. My financial life is changing dramatically. Not only the wedding and the honeymoon but a lot more bills. My coin and bullion practices will be changing. Time to look for cheap entertainment!

Lol, I think I would be shorting myself just a tad. I'm thinking more along the lines of working out at the gym and hiking outdoors.

My car is considered a Large Hybrid (or mid size at worse).
If I drove a small hybrid I'd probably be getting 60mpg+

Couple recent shorter trips. 2nd one is a trip to work, I get better mileage from work as it's more downhill.

There is a Federal fuel tax, and a State fuel tax. I think here in Utah the State rate is around $.459/gallon.

I think it may actually be the opposite. The companies make huge profits off of either leasing silver to manufacturers in need, which they will get back when the manufacturers sell products down to the end consumer, or make money by using silver as the basis of options and contracts where if they are good , they make money while the option players and the bullion/jewelers usually break even winners/losers. If all of a sudden the large banks stop buying and start to dump their silver, I will sure be doing it also. They plan to buy back when it dumps and start the cycle again, with "investors and hoarders seeing their value decrease". Many here think no manipulation silver will be higher, but they may actually be keeping the price artificially high now with manipulation.......Yes, I know every bullion newsletter and pundit will disagree.

The banks don't deal with commodities like precious metals to hurt individuals, they do it to make money using individuals activities. IMO. Jim

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding!! If you get too bored at the gym and the coins keep calling you, try heading over to the Ancients forum. You would be blown away by what a small coin budget can buy!! Anyway, I hope you'll still be around!

If You knew how much fuel and gas I burn this time of year on the farm you would probably say that's more than I Have used in 2 years, But remember that the next time you set down to eat good ol american grown food my Friends!! That old GM truck with the 454 in it gets about 4 miles to gallon, And even probably worse with the fertilizer I had to go to town after yesterday morn.

Once I start collecting something like coins the bug never goes away. I'll be doing it til I die. I can still enjoy coins for the time being without spending much at all. Maybe it is time for me to get into Ancients and World. US kind of has me bored.

Wait, you mean it isn't all done with solar-powered robots and windmills?

My neighbors drive themselves to the office in big SUVs. The only big fertilizer loads that they bring in are delivered via TV/radio/Internet. If they'd drive something more sensible, there'd be cheaper fuel for the important uses -- like yours.

But I'm not the boss of any of them, of course.

Looks like the foreign markets liked it a tad last night. Been playing in Dust for the last week here, Waiting for rain for crops to start before they burn up in ground. Yesterday was a weld everything day until I ran out of wire then I just watched it rain.
