Kind of cool to know that even the top earning sports legends enjoy the stuff that we do. A proof Morgan would be one of my first investments with that signing bonus paycheck from the NFL! Good for him keeping the cert. numbers in a safe place.

Is the NCIC the same database that holds the fingerprints of persons arrested at one time or another. If so, do you know if they also track assets through it? Just curious if you happen to know.... **Absolutely not a requrst for any research to be done.

I didn't even know that there was a "Numismatic" Crime Information Center.
That is super cool... I'd really love to work for them when I retire. Imagine being a coin detective.... It just doesn't get any better than that.

 

National Crime Information Center ~ I don't know what specific functions they might perform.

What they do is maintain a stolen coin data base. Unfortunately this time the info was a little slow to get out. My boss is the one who bought the coins only to see them as a new post a day later. He turned them over immediatly but is out the money.

 

Sorry to hear that..You boss sounds like a honest and diligent man or woman;.hopefully the theif has some sort of property for your boss's business to attach as a compensatoy relief remedy for this deceptive deed in the hopeful event that you boss files a suit against the scumbags involved

 

It is good to have a listing of your coins and ids of your slabs
