MM is offering 90% circulated (dealer's choice) for pennies above melt > https://monumentmetals.com/deals/90-weekend-sale.html?utm_source=Monument Metals Info List&utm_campaign=bc2828523a-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_03_16&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_919c1def5a-bc2828523a-20463761&mc_cid=bc2828523a&mc_eid=a28c0eb2d1
I don't understand the 10x 11x 12x pricing, but at 16.28 spot, $10 Face Value of 90% silver coins = 117.76 - MM is selling $10 FV for 118.76 free shipping. 118.76 / 117.76 = 1.00849 = 0.85% premium = excellent price. ($50FV & $100FV bags are even less per coin) MM is a good dealer, good coins, good prices, good service, no complaints
And that means each dollar of silver coins costs $11.78. 11.78x face value. (And a good price, in my opinion, although I prefer to wait for opportunities to buy below spot, or near spot with a likelihood of getting interesting/premium coins.)
Most silver sells for so much x So you have 20 halves 2 make up a dollar so you do 12 x $1.00 = 12.oo per dollar face. so if they or someone wants 13 x face its 1.00 x that. a 40% Half sells lets say for $2.50 2 of them make a dollar and if they sell for 5.50x face that gives you $5.50 Do you understand?
is anyone buying from Provident this weekend? if so I need a 5 oz america the beautiful capsule? I am will to pay you to send it to me I just do not want to pay 3.29 and 6.50 ship is all. I called them and they would not help me B$%^&
Do you know what I need if you do?https://www.providentmetals.com/america-the-beautiful-5-oz-air-tite.html
just ONE airtite? one thing I've always wondered. When you put a coin in an airtite you are also incasing the air that it is in. If that air it is in is a problem them you are incasing a coin in that same air. Of course, it's more scratch resistant too
Yup!! Not much air left after you snap her shut. And that's called toning I think, LOL Then I can throw it at my grandkids and if they do not catch it oh well.
Thing is, even if there's "bad air" in there, there's only a tiny amount air, bearing a tiny amount of whatever contaminant can react with the coin. Once that tiny amount reacts, it's gone. So toning only advances a tiny (imperceptible) amount. ...except that "airtites" aren't actually air-tight. Air can leak in and out, and so, over time, the coin will still tone. Just not as quickly. More to the point, it's protected if someone drops it, or sneezes on it, or picks it up with grubby fingers, or drags it across a tabletop.
I don't know how but SU made the sweet 16. Lets see if boeheim can pull something out of his hat and take us to the final 4!!!!!
I think we have luck of the irish! We lost but got picked for the championship Yes SU usually is a very good team but not so much this year our big guys left us. Then pulled a Flower out of Butt and upset #3 michigan yesterday. we will have to see!
