I better get on my top 10 list, time is running out! This was a lean year cash wise, so I only picked up 16 ancients and one medieval. I did pick up a number of modern coins as well. All of my ancients were Roman, except for one Greek. I decided to focus on crossing some Roman coins off the list in 2017, and despite the limited number of coins, I picked up some cool stuff. 10. I wanted to make sure I worked a lady in this year, so I got this nice looking denarius of Plautilla. I really like her portrait, being just a kid really at the time, kind of reminds me of my girls. This cat has been on my list for years, and I was determined to add someone from the tetrarch era I didn't have. This coin edged out Constantius I, just had a better price and a kicking temple reverse. Plus @David Atherton is always showing cool Flavians and all I have to post is the same old two coins. Well, here's a third! I've REALLY been wanting a coin of Caligula, and REALLY wanted something with Germaniucs. The coin is in pretty good shape (for what I can afford), despite the surfaces everything is pretty clear. I love the story it tells, what a great propaganda piece from little bootikins! This one has been on my desk for months, I just don't want to put it up yet...I got my hand on it all the time! I think the Germanicus is my favourite too, though I also love the Titus, the Plautilla, the Béla, and the écu... awesome group!!

Wow, Chris, I really like that list. The Maxentius is a solid example of the type, and that Plautilla portrait is sweeeet. You scored a great bargain with the Aelius drachm and that Germanicus dupondius is outstanding!

Il like the Germanicus, you got a very nice and interesting gift from @Orfew, that Aelius is a steal, nice eagle on #4, how not to like those Maxentius temples, I have a soft spot for Plautilla and the republic, the Bela is outstanding, and I understand your feeling at handling a big ol' french ecu !!
