Got few box silver bars delivery by UPS a week ago from JmBullion , and the delivery guy ask me what is in the box's, it so heavy . I told him it just stone , haha . The bars look so nice shinny , i will order more next year if price still under 17 dollars. 20171130_215338.jpg 20171130_215401.jpg

35 per layer x 10 layers x 10oz...3500 oz? Or is my math off? Either way, nice stack :)

That's at least 6 boxes I would guess. I once got 1800 ounces at one time in three boxes (125 lb). As I had to sign for them I went to the post office to pick them up. The (female) clerk comments on how heavy they were and could barely pick them up to put them on the counter. When she asked what was in there I just said "gold". She just laughed, not realizing how close to the truth it was. Her reaction was a little different when I picked all three up and walked out with them.

The next time someone asks what's in the box, just tell them it's auto parts.

Wow! I would suggest putting like 1/10th of that in bitcoin. If you have that much invested in a precious metal that historically doesn't do much, you could risk a little in something that could really take off.

7 box's, each box about 40 LB , if I told him gold like you did , he might want open my box next time if I order more silver. It took me hours to unbox all those box's . Each box have 3 layers box's, total about open 21 box's!

Wow, nice stack. A few people on this site have recently thrown down some big dough on silver lately. Under $16.00 is a good time to buy. I have bought $45.00 Face of Junk Silver this week. I'm not a high roller as you can tell but believe it's a good time to stack. Let's hope gold goes down some more next.

Well, I knew the clerk personally and she took it as a joke. Plus, I am not likely to ever receive that much in one shipping again. It was 18 100oz bars I had had converted into 1 ounce rounds. If I have that much to spend at one time then most of it will be gold. But, in fact, now that I am approaching retirement age I know that I will never have that much again at one time.

Bitcoin about $ 17000 a coin now , i am not going put my $ 17000 dollars on a bitcoin that I can't even touch , it way too big bubbles now , it can go up but it can crash anytime from now .

Or you could have purchased 45 ounces of gold and saved yourself a ridiculous storage hassle.

But honestly, unless you are obscenely wealthy, most of that $56,000 could have been better invested.

You don't have to buy a whole bitcoin. You can buy any dollar amount you want. I put $5,500 in a month ago and its made me about $3,000 profit so far.

Have you realized that profit? You've sold your bitcoin and actually collected that profit?

I've sold most of my original investment, and am letting the free $3k ride for a bit. I could pull it out if I wanted, but since I now don't have any of my own money in it, I figured I have nothing to lose by letting it go a bit. If I hit $5k profit, I might start taking out $500 a month or so.

I've had this moment getting boxes of halves from the bank, but my response at the time was "I pick up people for a living, this is nothing." Got a good laugh out of that.
