Results are in on this coin I recently submitted. Don't have the coin/slab back yet, but what would you grade it?
ANACS more than likely called this VG-10 Details Environmental Damage/Corroded. It has the look of a recovered Metal Detecting find that was conserved.
I’d say it has Fine details, but got silently net graded for the corrosion and rim ding to a VG10. So VG10 is my guess.
F12 Details corroded, scratched Shameless plug time! @Beefer518 don't forget to save something for the Details Discount Thread: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/the-details-discount-thread.301855/page-31#post-2909201 And people here should check out that thread too!
This is a aprox good 6 details coin. I'm travelling overseas right now in the airport so I am not at my PC and I'm looking at the pics it on my assistants ipad but I'm pretty much certain that I am 100%.
I'm going to change my opinion to F-12 Details, with the same qualifier as before. ANACS gives the lowest numeric grade within a grading range when giving details grades. There is no way this would grade VG-08 as the details would never support that. F-12 fits what remains much better.
I'm pretty sure that even with ANACS all over the place grading that you're wrong, if you aren't wrong you should be as that is not a G6 coin
