I love it when sellers take crapola photos and everyone avoids the coin. I will take better pictures later; it is much more lustrous in hand.
$23 $10 Trying to choose which will live in the 7070... I'm a huge fan of chalky brown patina but the wood look is something I don't have anywhere else.
$35. I love the toning and colors of this large cent so I had to get it. Plus I thought the prices wasn't bad either. It is my first Braided Hair Large Cent.
True. Is that uncommon for coins minted in that era? Also any ideas on the grade? I was thinking XF maybe AU.
I'm not sure about that. Post this coin on the error forum and see what they say on the rarity part. I don't see many off center large cents online. I'm curious myself.
$30 Bought as a pocket piece/window sill coin experiment to perhaps end up in the album.... haven't had the heart to put it in with my change yet though.
Couldn't say for sure. Looks very well-struck but I'm guessing it's business and the mirror thing is from the harsh polishing just by the odds. I'm not sure if there are any particular identifiers for that year.
Well with only 550 proofs minted ?? However those rims do looks square...and the details sharp...if not proofs strikes, maybe proof dies used to mint business strikes.
Honestly, I have not been able to attribute anything but the wavy die scratches above the date. I also bought a tether chord for my T3i today, The assist of the computer, has been something to get used to.
