And if it made it, a Heraculis 3 Emperors.file:///var/folders/5p/82tvvjpw8xl3rr001s7cxp7h0000gn/T/P1080072.jpg and another Commis from pre Roman Britain. I won't risk losing this again by adding more. Next time!
I don't have a photo myself, but I looked at TripAdvisor at the casino in Lake Charles. There are multiple photos there from travelers that show the nugget, (same nugget allegedly) as well as the plaque. There are pictures of it from July 17 (which coincides with my visit) as well as June of 17, but also December 2014 of it there. I visited the casino in Sept of last year (2016) as well and saw it there. Because of the built in display and of the other information here, it is highly improbable it is being moved back and forth. So at least one of the nuggets in question must be a fake... How disappointing.
I did a quick Google search; it appears they have the same display in all of their locations. Also, they seem to claim to move the real nugget around but it is unknown which casino has the real nugget. Bit of a safety precaution maybe? Anyways, cool thread!

I think your right, a little game of cat and mouse, and being there is no way for You to physically examine it, there really is no way of knowing which is the real Deal
Just saying. Are seriously wondering whats that got to do with coin talk. Iink is very specific (coin talk!!!) MY REPLY IS VALID.
I love these things...and yes they're common dates, ungraded and would make most collectors laugh, puke or just walk away, but that doesn't matter to me...
Just saw this new size gold Maple leaf on EBAY. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-1-5-oz...658316?hash=item2f06ce7bcc:g:L-4AAOSwHLNZXXut Thought I'd post it. Must be very new, as I hadn't heard a thing about it. Stumbled across it while checking out the daily deals. Not a great deal per say, but a little different. Canada is at least trying different things (maybe too many) with the 3/4oz., 1.5oz., etc... silver coins, different finishes, etc... here's a pic. of the new one. Don't own one........ yet anyway.
Coin would be the 1943 50 Peso gold piece, probably because it's the largest and lowest mintage. Bar would be the 5 gram Engelhard Escalante Mine Ranchers Exploration bar
