Philly and New York and Washington denizens made Memorial Day weekend east coast shore point reservations last year and rolled the dice. They're gonna lose this year. The ocean is ice cold and the water falling from the sky won't be much warmer.

I've never understood the appeal of shore vacations. Give me mountains or a good ANA convention location and I'm all set.

Is a Type II 1972 Philly on your list? It's the only one I need.

 

I'm just starting, only have a few and yes the type II Philly is still on my list. Not sure what grade I am going for on that one.

 

It's a tough one to find really nice, because they were only on circulated coins, and it was quite a few years before the variety was discovered. Any MS grade is a find.

So we closed the week at $17.31. How many of you were buying when it was at $16.16 recently?

 

I bought some various ASEs at under $18.50 when silver was under $16.50 . I can't recall the exact price off the top of my head but I think it's a few pages back.

 

I got some but high premium on a couple,(Destiny series) a couple 10oz.MLs and a few Scottsdale products for near spot.
