Silver drops almost every Friday. Do you wait to buy?

Silver has its most significant changes every Friday, typically those changes are drops. Are you aware of this? And do you wait to make your purchases on those dips?

I make most of my purchases on a Saturday because that is the only time I can get to my LCS. I think I heard it mentioned here before that dealers get nervous selling silver on Fridays due to what you are talking about.

It would be Sunday for me. That is when I go to the coin shows.

Actually, I've found that Fridays usually buck the trend of the week generally. In a down market, Fridays mostly recover. In an up market, Fridays mostly decline. BUT... all that goes out the window if a major move is underway.

I buy when the price hits one of my targets. So it doesn't matter the day, it has to reach a particular target that I set. The same thing I do for stocks.

Slight moves dont bother me in the least, Silver is a long term investment vehicle
and it should be driven as such...

I buy at a target price too. I'm waiting for the price of silver to drop below $16 and I'll jump in a for a few grand.

I buy what I like if I have the money. Is that okay?

Did anyone imply that it wasn't ok?!

What are you hoping to get out of me?

"Maybe you should consult your payee at the welfare agency to approve your purchasing plan?"

Yes, not very nice, and that's the best compliment of all, right? As a punishment, on the afternoon of August 21, I'm going to make the subject of your avatar briefly disappear. :D

Extra-classy, but you need to edit again -- you left out the speculation about his momma.

This illustrates what longnine and I do have in common. Just a little hostility can go SUCH a long way.

I've noticed the end of the week seems to flucuate the most, both up and down. Is this because dealers and investors are making big end of the week moves?

What's wrong privy? My method has no need to utilize your "brillant" observation?

What am I hoping to get out of you?

I'm watching season 5 of 30Rock. It's funny enough. But should I need more laughs I'll keep your silly posts in mind. Or maybe just watch some episodes of Pinky & The Brain.

On the matter of welfare...wow wee. That and the "lack of branches on the family telephone pole" are about as original as a glass of water. You really should email whatever site your scripting jokes from and command them to do a re-mix or else your going to get really really mad.

We could find common ground by each liking a side of The Maestro's face. I'll take the Randites side and his artical Gold and Economic Freedom.

If we're lucky he'll reveal the real Maestro face to us while he's still temporal. And most important of all, was he the inspiration for Francisco Domingo Carlos Andres Sebastian d'Anconia (lot of faces eh?) and/or his money speech, in Atalas Shrugged. Now wouldn't that be a hoot?

Oy vey! Now I see it! A Rand fan, huh? Oh boy, no wonder. You never had a fighting chance. :D You know in urban exploitation films when the young protagonist first gets drawn into a street gang? You know that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach? Yeah, I get that same feeling every time I see somebody with a copy of Atlas Shrugged. "This will never come to any good."
