To get back to the title of this thread, I believe everyone has the right to waste their own money in anyway they wish. Just don't complain when it happens.

Keep drooling into your search engine Kurt. Maybe he threw a newspaper into the wrong driveway as a paper boy in 1960.

Has nothing to do with a book written by Bonner. It's just another one of your overused simpleton methods to make A=B.

You can't smell anyone through the internet Mr. Science man. Check your underwear.

Sadly, he hasn't published a lot of books over the years. But he has tons of Youtube videos including interviews with Danielle. Would you like me to post some links to my favorites?

You people are destroying this forum with your off topic arguments. Grow up!

My posts are directly answering your topical question. I think stackers are morons and creeps, simultaneously ignorant and dangerous. We clear?

You're 100% right, re economics, science, logic, investment, etc. But you're also not converting anyone to our educated, logical side that defers to expertise. Your posts are likely only hardening their antiscience positions and probably turning other forum members off from your position. Not to mention, at this point the whole thread has been derailed.

Not interested in converting anyone. They're fundamentally beyond hope. I just use their ignorant beliefs to my advantage. You brought the term here. They're "woo woo".

I am sure I will get crushed here, but in all honesty, I came to enjoy numismatics as a result of what you might call silver stacking. I still at times buy junk silver if I think it is a good deal and timing is right. But, I also view some of what I do as an investment and limit my ownership of silver and gold below a % of my net worth including numismatic coins. At the end of the day I enjoy the stuff in the stack, the investment aspect, and the numismatic joy with equal footings. Part of my psyche on buying a higher grade numismatic coin is that I know the base metals have some intrinsic value and that helps me take the leap!

I do silver stack, but my "stacking" is related to ASEs for wealth creation & holdings which can be used as an asset for leveraging for credit, etc. Works like a charm.

I collect to create and build on sets or things that relate together as a theme. I literally don't give a darn what metal anything is made of. If it fits with what I'm working on and I can afford it, I buy it. It might be silver, or copper, or aluminum or tin or even exotic metals. I don't give a darn.

The dollar is in no short term peril, and THIS MUCH I KNOW FOR ABSOLETE CERTAINTY - when the dollar does some day fail to be practical, there is an ABSOLETE ZERO probability we will EVER return to a metals based currency.

I'm thinking too many people are watching too many western reruns or Game of Thrones or something and have warped their reasoning powers.

Did he really change that much in two days? I put him on ignore because his comments were so insane and antagonistic.

like it or not, you never should totally silence a critic, he may be right in the long run. Now if he wants to tell you airplanes are really snails or it was your father who gave birth to you, I would definitely use the ignore feature. Honestly, I like Kurt's comments. He's like the mathematics of chaos. If you haven't study it, then you don't believe in climate change, or the unpredictability of the stock market. Both are man's attempt to control the uncontrollable. Keep those butterflies flapping their wings. :>)
