Where can you find good deals on gold U.S. commemorative coins ? Anywhere other than EBAY, or is that the best ? Thanks.
Is that a trick question? What's a good deal? A substandard, altered, damaged or even fake coin for an extremely low price? A nice looking coin for a fair price? A monster, nearly irreplaceable coin for a seemingly obscene price? Whatever the type of deal you seek, I daresay you can find all three types of deals both on and off eBay.
Good condition near spot. Not necessarily perfect, but not damaged, cull. Better for either collecting, or reselling.
Many of the big onliners have them in bulk, especially *pmex. Maybe not the lowest price in the world, but you know who you are dealing with. They stand behind them. And they always have them....sometimes on "sale".
I have read that the modern gold commemoratives, both $5 & $10, were selling at or near spot. Either due to lack of interest, or high price no doubt. I'm just not seeing that like I expected to. Some are low priced, but not THAT close to spot. Looking at BINs only. Is it the auctions that you get the better deals ? BETTER DEAL MEANING THE BEST VALUE. A GOOD COIN AT OR NEAR SPOT. THANKS.
I enjoy buying gold commemoratives. I only buy from dealers at shows. Many have them a bit over melt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
