yeah, I bought allot of GOLD between $1,300 - $1,600 an once so almost a 3-1 ratio
I think tensions are still high in GAZA then of course you have the forever war Russia and Ukraine and allot of activity in the Caribbean as long as these events continue PM prices will rise.

I somehow missed this thread in 2025....FWIW, I think I said in other threads we'd hit $5,000 by 2030 when gold was under $2,000.....I think we could get to $7,500 by 2030 (certainly 2035) and $10,000 gold by 2040 (2035 in bullish scenarios) is not unreasonable.

My wallet doesn't believe polls, government statistics or BLS stooges. However, it does know when it's being rifled.

Under control, then why is my taco bell bill over $ 35 for three people and this is for lunch / still prefer a Costco hot dog for $1.50 the best value in town

I don't think gold approaching $10K by 2030 is impossible.

Fiscal pressure has not been resolved. The Congressional Budget Office projects a $1.9 trillion federal deficit in 2026 (as of October 1, 2026, total debt is $40.26 trillion), with debt held by the public continuing to rise over the next decade. Central banks also remain meaningful buyers of gold. Mine supply cannot expand quickly if that demand accelerates, while policy uncertainty around the 2026 and 2028 U.S. elections could reinforce demand for safe-haven assets.

On the other side, lower energy prices could help ease inflation over time. AI / SI / Quantum-driven productivity gains could also be disinflationary as they spread through the economy. Gold can benefit from all of this (and some tech stocks will be ripping-generational wealth can be built the next several years).

Or, to put it another way, people who lose their jobs to AI won't have money to spend.

How can you make such a monsterous statement. Are you not aware of The Elon's vision of "High Universal Pay" for everyone?

BTW Elon I have not heard back from you on my request for an advance of five years worth of Universal High Pay. I promise to work off the advance with an additional 25% of slack. So what's the holdup?

BTBTW has anyone, such as the Real Estate industry, small business groups or anyone with hard to run with assets, pondered where the lost taxes will come from when no one has a job?
