The 1804 "Spiked Chin" variety half cent, versus the 1804 "Extremely Spiked Chin" variety. (I wanted to make a live-action version of this, with Lady Liberty having an actual metal spike coming from her chin, but I ran out of my daily quota of free images on the Gemini bot. So this first draft was all I got.)
The Gemini bot was wary of the neoclassical nudity on this piece, so I had to compromise with some scallop shell pasties to make it safe. Though I hadn't asked for it, it also offered to do a closeup of the cornucopia and coins, so I of course I said yes. But that came out showing a bunch of US coins. Another prompt tweaked it to show some more period-appropriate Napoleon III coins, but one anachronistic Saint-Gaudens piece stubbornly refused to go away. Hmm. I just noticed that she lost her earring and one strand of pearls, and her mirror changed to a Rod of Asclepius. And the cotton bale turned into a barrel. Interesting.

Perhaps y'all could have come up with other funny captions (or if you have the means to create your own funny coin-related critterpix, let's see 'em!)
Each month I have fun creating an imaginary “coin” for the banner image in each of my giveaway threads. This is for the current “pick your prize” contest on the CoinTalk Contests forum. I based it on the 17th century European “city view” thalers, and the AI got it right on the first take. Giveaway 152 (CoinTalk: pick your prize) These, adapted from US coin designs, were for giveaways involving that particular type of coin. That was covered in the second paragraph of my online bio, which was featured in a December 2023 NumisForums interview. I used to link to it in my signature line, but removed the link since the interview is a little dated now (and I needed to tidy up my signature line anyway).
BTW, despite the imaginary beginnings of the “Lord Marcovan” persona, now I’m a real lord in Scotland, with an actual registered title and a parcel of land there! (Thanks to a Christmas gift from @Nyatii one year.) My land domain in Scotland is only one square foot, but so what. Maybe I can visit there one day and have everyone in sight call me “your Lordship”, and I can build a tiny castle of the same scale as would fit on @dwhiz’s model railroading layout.
