That little pipsqueak that I posted about 12 years ago catching his first fish from the river. That little kid just took his first decisive win last evening. At 19 he grabbed the biggest. We tried for a photo. The fish wanted a beter photo. He caught an 19" trophy trout for the length last evening. You say 19" thats it? It was probably 15" around. I caught the first and most and missed one just as big. GTG this Merc.
We fish just below a Fishing club, the continental divide and Denver/ Boulder drinking water. That is a huge fish, but not as big as they get. Got a grade?
A grade you say? MS66+ I've been on the Farmington River here in Barkhamsted, CT. Wa near a guy who caught a 7 pounder! We were fishing below the hatchery. Great spot! My friend and I fished a bit until it was time for him to work. Him and his father were framers doing a job nearby. I'm sure they get even bigger too.
Great river picture. As to the dime, that's got very attractive toning. I'll take a wild guess and say NGC MS66 FB.
I grade that trout at about a pound an an MS70 for a lifelong great memory!... Oh, and I'll go MS65 on the dime.

Oh, that isn't AI. Looking for keywords on pages and inserting ads related to those keywords is 1990s technology. Doesn't matter how secret you keep your predilections if the page you're viewing has three occurrences of "fishing" and a dozen of "fish". You're busted.
I can’t decide which I like better the fish or the dime. Both are beautiful and I’m sure when he caught that he was absolutely thrilled.
Well, this will be an eye opener for many of you. This coin jumped out of the case blazing luster, good color, I had to see why it graded the way it did. I personally can't find a reason. There are no rim dings, I can't find any hairlines. The Bands are full. There are approximately 3 minor contact marks on the Faces. I was baffled but for the coin I was happy to pay the price of 64. The dealer even reduced it to 30, which is an auction price. Anyone that said Gem or better I would say they are correct. PS the coin has nice luster but not the luster seen on a premium Gem coin.
Beautiful rainbow trout and an even more beautiful Merc! Love the luster and that subtle rim toning. Congrats on a lifetime memory and a great coin pickup.
