I would agree on the manner in which they were shipped. I would also agree that this lacks the professionalism of their reputation. If it were myself, I'd weigh what was paid and the condition versus a return. But I would at the very least contact them about the matter irreguardless.

I have bid in Heritage auctions since 1997. In that time I have had about 100+ transactions and 2 occasions where I was displeased and demanded they give me a refund. In both cases they did but remember it is Christmas Eve; you might want to wait until after Christmas. Also, decide in advance just what it is you want them to do; that way you have more control of the final result. good luck. james

Thank you everyone for the reply!
I've contacted HA and they mentioned their head of coin department is going to review this. I'm waiting for this reply.

  6. Update: HA accepted my return in Jan 2026. They provided the shipping label, and I received a full refund about a week after mailing it back mid-month.

I totally agree with the others. This is false advertising and the loose shipping definitely caused damage. Contact Heritage immediately for a full refund. If you end up keeping them, transfer them to a Capital Plastics holder and never use tape on the old bags.
