The "Funnyback" is a 1928 or 1934 U.S. one-dollar silver certificate, nicknamed for its unusual back design and lighter green ink.

    History and Design

The Funnyback was introduced in 1928 as the first small-size U.S. banknote, replacing the larger "horseblanket" bills used previously. Measuring 6.14 by 2.61 inches, it was smaller and easier to handle, with the redesign aimed at reducing counterfeiting and improving usability. The obverse features George Washington, serial numbers, a blue Treasury seal, and signatures of the Treasurer and Secretary of the Treasury. The reverse earned the nickname "Funnyback" due to its dramatically lighter green ink and unusually large font for the word "ONE," which made it look almost like play money

Paddy sent you a possible detecting site 3 weeks ago.

No. But that would of been nice to find. I have about 5 of them.
The Cointalk website was really slow on Sunday, so I decided to wait until it got better to post the thread. It looks much better today so I will create the thread this afternoon.
