Small mintage, different design, and better hidden to get into circulation. What's not to love?

Just another reason to keep searching - at 250,000 total I would imagine these will have a fairly decent value especially in higher grades. I can't wait to start looking but doubt they will show up soon, still waiting for the first two to appear here in Colorado.

That's great! I love to see the mint releasing "every man" rarities.

    Thanks for sharing.

I'd be happy to even find normal ones at this point lol. But I'm keeping my eye out!

I'm happy to give credit to the Mint when they do do something right, like this. Excellent choice!

Cool! Hope I can find one. I still haven't gotten one of the new dimes yet.

I'm not a fan. Most of them will get pulled within days of leaving the FRBs and end up on ebay for insane money like the Ws did. If the Mint wants to do these things, the mintages need to be low enough to be fun to find but high enough that they actually get spread into circulation.

When it’s almost July and I haven’t even seen a regular one of any denomination, I stop caring.

I guess I'll never stop ragging and raging about this. They started releasing the bicentennial quarters in 1975. Everybody could get one in change. They're still circulating. Now it's like, let's celebrate our 250th by manufacturing rarities that only a few privileged people will be able to get. What a colossal screw up.

I still haven't found any 2026 coins and I mainly find dimes and nickels for 25.
