Hi all! Long time no see! I just graduated college— hopefully that means more time for numismatics!

I bought this coin years ago and set it aside to inspect further for a potential RPD and reverse strike-through. While the date is a bit obscured by patina, it looks like the 1 is in the least repunched at the base. It is perhaps a 1/1883 variety? It’s not really worth anything if it is, but Im finally trying to organize my world coins and would like to take note of it if it does appear to be an RPD to you all as well.

Also curious on your thoughts on a potential small strike-through on the reverse.

    All the best,

    Soren

I see a little die deterioration and what MIGHT be a little strike through under the chip.

Thanks so much! It's ambiguous on this one if there's an RPD, but I think you're right that it's more likely to be die deterioration.

Possibly a strike through, but could easily be damage. Probably not anything worth noting on the flip, then!

Thanks for your help and insight!
