    Hello everyone,
Yesterday, Memorial Day, I was off from work so I finally went out for about 4 hours at Pelham Bay Park to do some dirt fishing. I didn't go on Saturday because of bad rainy weather and I also was getting over a bad cold.

These were my finds and a very interesting story to share with you concerning a silver ring find!

So as I was detecting a snake and I crossed paths.
It was an Eastern Milk Snake which was about 24 inches long.

    So what's interesting?
That about an hour later I detected a Silver Serpent Ring :wideyed:

Nice finds. I might be wrong but I think screw back collar disks like that are from ww2 or older. I would like to get into metal detecting, seems fun.

Another great day for you. Nice looking snake and a silver ring to always remind you of that. Add more silver to the collection. :)

Quite the coincidence! Did you notice that coincidence starts with "coin"?

The snake would look good on your hat.

Congrat's on your finds! Snakes are good in NYC. They eat the rats.
