And the answer is yes ! atleast for me especially today, my #1 LCS which really
isnt, more of a facilitator and trades from a discrete un named office, he called me yesterday and told me he had 40k of GOLD coming in and buy the time i got there
most of the bullion was gone but i did manage to score a 1oz AGE a 1/4 oz AGE and a
1/10 oz and the best part, i bought it at spot with no tax or premium ! i really wish he had more, but he said he will probably get some in next week if not theres always COSTCO. :)

My # 2 LCS charges $160 over spot for buffalo,s and $150 for AGES

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes? Supporter

I like the 1/10th ounce size. It is easily divisible so you instantly know what it is based off spot. The size is convenient.

And, if I don't have $5k to just put into gold, the tenth is a whole lot more reasonable to pick one or two up.

I like the Roman Numeral gold in any size.
    Stick with #1 LCS
Sounds like #1 LCS has a preferred list of buyers, maybe the more you buy the higher you get up on the call list.
#1 LCS is probably still working on a small margin.
Last week I bought some small Mexican gold at 5% under spot...the LCS still made 5% and didn't have to hold it long.

I have a full tube of 1/10 oz GOLD coins from just about every country, when I first started out investing and collecting, these 3 are pretty cool :) the first is the Chinese
good luck prosperity coin, the second is a Australian kangaroo it was very limited production and the third is a Mexican peso which is a very low mintage coin anything minted in Mexico is a touch ask especially the 1/10 oz coins.

Having been a part of this hobby when gold was officially $35 an ounce, and the government had restrictions on how you could own it, $4,650 boggles my mind.

As a collector, it makes me sad because it puts common date $20 gold pieces out of the price range of many collectors. It’s like it was when $20 gold pieces were used as money. Twenty dollars was the better part of a month’s income, and few people handled them.

Will the gold price continue to rise? Yes, but it may have reached a plateau for a while. It’s done that in the past.

As for tenth ounce pieces, yes they are cute and attractive, but you pay a bigger premium relative to the spot price. If you really want to invest or speculate in gold, it’s much more efficient to buy the one ounce piece if you can afford it.

I have a 1/10th as well, got it at a great price I couldn't pass up, below is the AI overview! thumbupp.gif

A Chinese boy holding a fish is a classic, auspicious symbol in Chinese culture representing "abundance and prosperity year after year" (年年有餘, nián nián yǒu yú). This motif combines the child, representing fertility or a family, with a fish, which is a homophone for abundance.

Currently gold is down to $4550.80 and dropping. Watch the world markets before buying PM’s at any price.

No, I bought this Chinese boy coin in November 2022, a long time ago when prices were good to go. :D
