After a long time, I managed to buy from fellow metal detectorist, this interesting lead applique, 10cmx8cm/3.9inx3.1, known by various names, Thracian horseman or Danubian Rider Lead Votive Plaques...My votive plaques,, due to these holes on the left side, was most likely nailed to a door or wooden beam in the house...A piece with history that is very dear to me..

Very interesting, deserves to be published. I'm serious.
There are 4 registers, from top to bottom :
    1 Sol Invictus in quadriga
2 a seated goddess between two horsemen raising hand. The one to the right seems to be trampling some corpse. On the left a helmeted figure, on the right some other deity.
3 sacrifice scene ? There is a dolphin, and two figures holding a child by the legs.
    4 a vase between a lion and a serpent

There are many other plaques known representing exactly the same figures, like later Orthodox icons.
