I took advantage of the $17.01 over the weekend at a coin show. Blind luck really. I paid $.80 over spot for 20 rounds and $.70 over spot for a tube of quarters.
No, but I got 10 1.45 ounce Canada Olympic proofs from the 1976 Olympics at only a little over spot. That, to me, is even better.
I sold around $40 FV at last weekend's show, and passed on an opportunity earlier in the week to buy a third of an ounce of 24K gold a bit below spot. So, you're welcome, I guess.
I was waiting for the price drop. Almost pulled the trigger at 16.93,ended up still getting ase no & im kicking my self. Apmex had a very good deal over the weekend on 2017 ase & I missed it because I waited for that bs krugs joke. I was expecting a drop today with the fed news,so I waited again. Checked, still 16.90s. Checked ten minutes later & it was up .40. On top of that, got an email from Jm saying the money order I sent them two weeks ago never arrived. Now I've got to deal with the post office to get my money back. This is the second time they've lost my mail in three months.
Maybe this will help a little on the rise today. https://www.fool.com/investing/2017...d-and-silver-stocks-soared-fo.aspx?yptr=yahoo
I think it will hold steady maybe rise a tad. That is what I got from my local financial guy reporting the news this AM. He basically said the interest rate is welcome news, And he expects stocks, bonds and such to hold steady. Lets see how good his crystal ball is.
I'm still predicting a pullback in stocks and a run this spring on metals. And while I'm leveraged for it, I'm also protected on the bottom line. Aim small, miss small...
Help yourself. Don't be surprised, though, if this one continues to draw the traffic instead of the new one -- unless they've set their preferences otherwise, everyone who's posted in this thread gets notified when there's a new post, and that tends to keep the momentum going.
That's depends on the settings. I don't. All I see is a special icon in the new posts list. Or is that what you mean?
Not necessarily so. I receive notifications of watched threads sporadically. CTs computer system gets hiccups often.
Okay, I overstated. People who previously posted in the thread may get notified when there are new posts. I still say that that tends to keep people coming back to established threads instead of going to new ones.
What happens to me is if I don't check a notification alert of a thread I stop getting notifications from that thread.
