Does anyone else watch these eBay live auctions for entertainment? It’s always interesting. You see a lot of mystery packs and vault boxes opened live. Can bid on it yourself if you want. I bounce around between them all, always thinking maybe there will be a good deal. But it doesn’t matter if there’s 30 people on or 200+. People are bidding hard! Always amazes me how much money people have to blow on this stuff and there’s an endless supply of people. If you want to live auction 10 gram Geiger bars worth $25 in silver, people will pay $100 for them all night long. If you have vault box nugget packs, people will bid them up $650 to $750, knowing the vast majority are tiny ones. I’m not saying they don’t have value but for the risk that’s about twice what people should be bidding them up to. But that’s the going rate. $750 for a 0.70 gram gold nugget in the end. There is an occasional winner. Saw a 13 gram pulled. Special edition 1 oz silver everything under the sun abounds. Disney, comic books, tarot cards. Huge premiums. $200 for a 1 oz limited edition tarot card. LE 1 oz Donald Duck bars for $150+. Last night I watched a guy bid $1675 on 6 mystery packs that contain ASE 70s with a chance for gold. He almost walked away with 6, bullion ASEs for that amount but one pack out of the 6 contained a 1991 1 oz AGE and he made out like a bandit.
