For me it really doesnt matter which way it goes North or South i will always be a buyer, was going to buy 60 OZ of SILVER today only to be told by my LCS here in the valley until further notice there not buying any any SILVER not even ASE,S !
even Scrap GOLD is on the chopping block only 22 and 24K GOLD coins and bars
so bought a 1 OZ GOLD Pamp bar instead.

Your post is confusing. You were going to buy 60 oz but your LCS said they aren't buying anymore until further notice? What does that have to do with them selling you 60 oz? If they don't have any inventory and aren't buying anything, they won't be in business for very long. Maybe I read something wrong or you left a word out? Please help me understand. This isn't sarcasm. ??

Gotcha. Sounds like they have plenty of inventory. Sounds like they don't want to buy because they are nervous and don't want to sell either because they'll take a loss. That's a hell of a position they got themselves into. :D I'm not making light of that, I'm sure plenty of coin shops are in that same predicament.

When you consider the possible volume and the money involved you can see why there so cautious.

The beauty of physical metals is if you are stacker, you have ZERO reason to sell if you don't want to. And you can buy at your own whims. Dealers don't have that luxury.

As an aside note.........I love to watch the flea's auctions and buy it now action, even when I have no intention of buying a thing. I just like the action, the coins, the junk, the retarded sellers that have no idea what is what, and an occasional unicorn of a great deal. But today, I noticed absolute junk Morgans are still selling above melt. It tells me buying sentiment is still extremely bullish, considering the junk coins being bid up to as much as $75. Those same coins were struggling to bring 30 bucks 6 months ago. That's a good sign for The Bullion Forum.

See I worry about that, the retail demand right now is huge, but the majority of buyers never had an interest in precious metal until it was promoted to them in the news or youtube. One dealer I know compared it to a late 1920's Shoeshiner telling people about stocks.

I thought the same a year ago when folks were buying well circulated Morgans for $30+. Maybe they are right?

There are many other factors that need to be looked at in this rise. I for one think that metals should be valued higher than they are. In other news the Dow hit 50G's today, the Ideal is to have money and markets moving hand in hand. I am waiting for the leveling...
Most purchases have been put on hold around here.

Just think of the number who would dive headlong into that pool . . . The landing would be softer than expected because of all the bodies that got there before yours.

Never been a gold bug, I like it better when gold is below 3K.
Sadly, gold is close to 5K again, and my feeling is it will still exceed 6K this year. It may well hit 6K when US takes out evil Khameini Regime this week.;) After that, when US controls Iranian and Venezeulan oil, prices at the pump will drop 50%:D That will be SOOOOOOOO nice!
