It is best to contact them first, as to availability of service, and pricing.

I echo @paddyman98's sentiment. Cripes, I could see these without a USB microscope!

I sent in several to pcgs. First i check the pop reports. Some already have varieties. If not Before i do send it i email customer service the picture and ask is it sonething they can attribute the variety too.

This is first one i sent.

Very nice! Is there any doubling on the portrait, or just the outside letters?

Thanks for all the comebacks. The point I was trying to make, there is a big difference in what John charges to attribate and what the grading companies charge. Like in the case of the ops coin. To all of us there is no doubt that it is a doubled die. But if he sends it into the grading company you can bet they are going to charge him for attribuate that coin. I really don't know I can only speculate because I am not one to send coins in for grading. Not like other CT members that would know a lot more about it than I would. And that is my question to them when you sent your coins in did you get charged that service fee.?:(:blackalien:

If i understand your question correctly then yes. I know at NGC there is an extra fee for Mint Error and Variety attribution. It gets expensive when you send more than a few coins.

paddyman98I think you've got it. On my budget even one coin is expensive. More or less having the money to send 100 coins in and get a discount on the price. Still does not make a lot a sense to me. But I do understand a certified graded coin is worth more than a non-graded coin. Just an example. If I was willing to sell one of my early Buffalo $50 gold piece, that is not certified and graded. But I will stand by a MS 70 on its grade. Though I'm not a professional Grader of coins, I can see that the coin has no distinguishable imperfections, and I would consider it a perfect coin. But in order for that coin to be worth more on the market at least for some buyers they preferred for it to be certified. That's why I would probably be willing to sell it for $50 less than a certified coin. This is only my opinion, I could take that $50 less. And put it towards getting this coin graded just to make up that $50. I will take $50 less and let the buyer if he wishes send it in to get it graded. I don't know you been around for a while is there thread on getting it graded are not getting it graded.? USMC60 Forget the request for threads found one. It goes back to 2015. Definitely makes a point I was trying to make. If you have the money go ahead and get your coin graded. Me I prefer to put food on my table with that $30 I'd spend on having a coin graded. But to each their own.

Well I now have got a 4th one. I will take a picture of all 4 together ASAP as well as come up close pictures.

I was surprised as I thought in modern minting these would be caught. I cannot find much information about them at all. Very little online. None graded with the top 2 companies. I would have figured something like this would have been noticed n the word out. Ive seen maybe another 3 online in postings since their minting in 2010 so no clue how many or if even scarce.

I believe there are not as many error collectors in the UK as the USA, I wonder if that is why?

Maybe someone else has some input
