I am completely non functional. Should I take some money off the table yet or wait? Dumping a small portion for a huge gain is tempting. Am I paralyzed or hypnotized? Dum dum dum......should I go or should I stay?If you say that you are no longer being mined I'll be here till the end of time.:D

Everyone has to decide their own fate :p
Sold a little bit @ $75 to test the water...it was a smooth transaction and helped out a local shop, the price went up $10 shortly after over the next 10 days o_O
Sold a larger amount @$85. helped out a local shop but Took 4 weeks for the payouts and again the price went up $10 shortly after over the next 10 days.
Put the money to good use so far and hoping it lasts the rest of the year finishing up projects.
Flipped a couple ounces for other people and cut a little bit from the middle, now it's over $100oz.
If you have plans for the money on another Hard Assets, the money left on the table is palatable :p

Dang. Are you telling me you sell to your local shop on consignment? Depending on when and what they get for it? That's a little different. Not knocking it, but you must have a lot of trust with them.

    Not on consignment.
Not a huge shop with deep pockets so can't dump a truckload at once.
Picked up a high end metal detector with some of the proceeds...that in itself should recoup the investment in a short period.
    Hindsight being, Well Hindsight :p
Would have liked to have waited for $100oz.
Don't know where silver is headed but know it's been trading sideways for 15 years...See Hindsight :p

During my career, I traveled globally (maybe 40 countries on bidness), and carried several ounces gold on my person as insurance. Glad I never had to use it. Never was bothered by any custom agents, although had been in and out of China during several tense times when the US would veto them joining WTO, or to and fro from Taiwan and China when China was performing major military buildup in Fujian Province, etc. Chinese customs were a bit more curt and delaying since I was American, but still got thru. Chinese never cared what I carried in or out.

i seem to be the lightening rod for natural disasters and military issues when I traveled overseas during my 45 year career.

One of my hobbies is picking nice Morgans either uncirculated or semi key dates in AU condition off the fleaBay. I'm utterly disgusted lately, currentlyI am only buying graded dates to get closer to completing my Morgan set. I'm pretty close to making it there. Maybe 14 coins? I have oodles of duplicate dates/mint marks, because I just like the coins. I am no longer accumulating duplicates now. It makes me a LOT sad to see complete junk going for 80-90 bucks a coin lately.
