The Buffalo/Indian round weighs 26,79 grams. The Interlinked Chains round weighs 30,86 grams. Are these legit? If so, why do they weigh differently? Thanks!
how thick are they? is the rim on the chains medal thicker than the buffalo (which will be a weight variance)? where did you get them, how long have you had them ... (ie, don't say AliExpress).
The buffalo is not a 1 troy oz silver round. It's a commemorative 90% silver coin. https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/2001-d-1-buffalo/9793
Yes, they are both legit. The Buffalo should weigh the same as the standard US silver dollar (it will weigh the same as a Morgan). That weight should be 26.7 grams. The one with the chain is a standard ounce round, which should be 31.1 grams.
