Since theres already a thread going on about when SILVER will hit $100 thought i would do one on GOLD currently at $4,853.02 so only about $146 and change away.
What do you want for this special day? That you don't already have. I need a 5x9 Coil for my Nokta Simplex ultra machine. Mine's in October by the way.
Unless something bad happens geopolitically or financially....I am not convinced we are destined to hit $5,000. We've had a big runup. We might need to base a while. OTOH....if gold is having a decade like the 1970's or 2000's....we could have room to run.
Well, given that gold was more or less illegal for US citizens to hold at the beginning of the 1970s, this decade is surely different from that one...
CHEATERS, they didn't answer yesterday so they could a day closer to the prediction. College Knowledge people always trying to get over on and uneducated person. your caught Mr. Vess lol
With inflation $900 gold in 1979 = $7000 gold today. Gold is still undervalued. I say $6K by Sept. 2026 $5K Jan. 28th.
Ehhh... I think gold in 1979 was heavily overvalued. At least that's what the market seemed to tell us over the following two decades. Whether it's over- or undervalued today, though, I can't really hazard a guess. To me this feels like a spike more than a climb to a new plateau. But I'm not selling.
I would not sell either, I am only interested in adding many more AV coins to my collection Precious metal prices really do not effect numismatic collector coins that I go after. Modern stuff though will suffer, either mints will produce even smaller gold/ silver/ platinum coins or prices will escalate. We live in interesting times, Putin with his economy tanking has sold 90 percent of Russian Platinum/ Gold reserves. Meanwhile China/ Germany are loading up on precious metals. The Hunt Brothers created the 1979 spike along with Russian invasion of Afghanistan. Today, its more on the line that people have lost their trust in FIAT currencies, given to debasement/ hign inflation/ GOVT. overspending/ overprinting..... Things were way more stable in good ole days, when you had money that was struck in copper/ silver/ gold.
I wasn’t trying to cheat. I’m not playing . Was more so a casual observation stating the obvious this afternoon. Now this evening it’s $26 away. Think people way over shot their guesses.
