I'm planning to attend the Tucson coin expo tomorrow (first show in maybe 20 years!). The idea is to sell a couple dozen 2 oz silver rounds, not top dollar, just reasonable. Do dealers typically post bullion buy/sell #'s/%s at their tables or will I have to wheedle a price from each of them?
Silver's Pride was the first horse race that I ever won. I bet the horse just because of the name and because I had just started collecting silver art bars. The horse went off at 80 to 1 and came in first.
Well for the losses overnight silver clawed itself back reasonably well being only .77 cents down for the day I'll take and lets raise it three $ tomorrow.
I lived in Tucson in 1980-81, 89. They didn't even have to show a new weather report every night on the news. 99, 99, 99, 99, 97 wear a sweater, 99, 99. Current value for face 67. Can I get around $5.50 each per dime from my buy sell gold guy? I have about 100 Rosies that aren't doing anything.
Anything is possible, but my thinking is this is a breather. On the other hand, should our representatives miraculously balance the budget and commit to paying down the debt . ..
You'll probably have to ask around. I have a few 10 ounce pieces I'll be shopping around. Are you willing to split up the lot?? I'd be interested in these or this tray. I'll be at the Tucson show. How bright of shirt will you be wearing so I can find you
Or maybe some weird little quantum glitch will cause all my silver to transmute into gold. And somehow not kill me with the by-product radiation. A long shot, but probably more likely than yours.
Isn't how that always goes? True story, I was at the dog track in the mid 90's sitting with a friend betting on the dogs. You may or may not understand the bet, but it was the Tri Super. You pick the trifecta on the 3rd race, for every winning trifecta ticket, you get a free exchange to pick the superfecta winner of the 5th race. The odds are stupidly against you. We always waited until it was capped at 50k and hoped the pot on the back end would pay big money on losing tickets (after it was capped and a forced payout). Well anyway, my buddy hit the front end with a couple of exchanges and then the 5th race NAILED IT. 50,000 dollars. He turned white, left the building. He came back the next night and went to the back office and cashed it in. I swear on a stack of bibles, this happened.
