Anyone Buying American Silver Eagles?

I went through a couple hundred ounces Google search for sold listings and was surprised at what vintage is now priced as generic silver.
Not sure the vintage silver will recover unless has the cool rarity factor much like MS63/64 slabbed US coinage.

Look up 1981 US strategic stockpile silver from the SF mint. See if there's any premiums. lol I wouldn't classify it as fancy. See if you can find a 5 ozer anywhere.

 

No real premium on the One Ounce rounds or bars, even though they represent a time in history.

 

got these 3 piece sets in 2018 for $1718 on flea bay looks good now When gold was $1225

1/10 mercury dime,
1/4 standing liberty
1/2 oz walking liberty

 

Well then, after only a couple weeks later , silver topped out at 115$ and then started a downdard correction. Presently 73$, and still dropping, it's getting closer to an honest level. I think it has a bit more to drop in my opinion, but only the Llama knows.
