    It was probably Gallery Mint. They usually set up a cool demonstration where they punch blanks, and then mint medals. They usually have a FUN show specific item tailored to whatever the theme is that year. You can watch them make them, and then they pass them out. I've got a few from past years.

    Yes, I’m told now that that was Gallery Mint with those presses. They’re striking free tokens, I hear. Might have to check it out tomorrow.

    Yes. A Pan-Pac octagonal $50 is my US “dream coin”. That’s the second one I’ve ever held in hand. The last was a raw AU. The weight is impressive.
