They'll probably weasel their way out of their positions, but I don't think long term the train is ever stopping again. This might teach them a valuable life lesson about selling contracts they can't deliver on.

Rumors for now but I dont think it's impossible after today's recovery.
Banks who are Short Silver are very vulnerable right now. Some of them have been tapping the Repo and not just for end of year tape painting. The numbers are in for that massive smack down. It took 1.4 Billion Oz of Phantom Silver Paper trades to engineer that drop. The alarming part is it recovered within a trading day. I'm thinking some banks may not make it. This is gonna get ugly.

It may require ANOTHER large institutional bank bailout. The question I ask is, who, who will approve it, and why? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

And we can be assured that the details, if any, will be forthcoming from the transparent fed.

Not all banks in the US have these problems. Some of these banks are in other countries.

Up to $78 today, back to $72 tonight. Almost like it's breathing. Maybe we should, too.

Popped into eBay this evening to see whether my old searches still worked, and to see what's going on with silver there. Quite a few people listing somewhat (or even substantially) below melt; those lots are gone in minutes. Even right at current melt, people are still buying hand over fist.

And it’s now under $72.00. Enjoy the ride but don’t panic.
