Australian 6 pence struck in Denver in 1943. Australia sent the dies to the U.S.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I clicked in from the side menu and didn't see this was an Error forum post. Then I failed to look at the closeups of the cud, or whatever it is.

I got in a hurry and off tangent on the D mint mark. I thought it might be for Darwin but…NO. Australia sent the dies to the US for the silver 3 and 6 pence in 1942 (during WW2). It’s obvious 1943 was also struck.

But in my haste I missed the rim cud. Actually a very nice coin, all said and done, with some attractive toning, too.

Agreed. Even ignoring the cud, it's a nicely toned example.

I have gotten duped before buying online. I got a SLQ once, when it it arrived it had a BAD rim ding not present in the photos. I returned for refund.
