How many sold their paper? The price seemed to have dropped back at around 11:30 AM

Earlier I bought an MS Morgan and a neat one ounce round for 49 each. Spot at noon MST. was 49.03. Not sure what it is right now.

Do we all use the same information? Or is there really that big of a difference in the sources?

I use a few sources. They all seem the same but some are just slower to update.
Apmex's charts show it spiking twice and then dropping So it doesn't seem to have stayed high for long.

That's exactly why I feel every household should own some if at all possible, especially gold, in a rainy day it may help you out in a big way! thumbsup.gif

Wow, I’m feeling rich. Too bad the stock market got crushed. Thoughts on that?

I think it’s Donald Trumps threat of higher tariffs and his negative comments about China. In my opinion, that’s what caused the markets to drop and PM’s to rise. I may be wrong.

Spot is for Dec 25 delivery. Physical silver is what you can buy or sell for today, cash money.
A lot of crosswinds at the same time. Dollar devaluation is ongoing due to National Debt, Budget Deficits for the foreseeable future. Currency fluctuations, interest rate cuts, mining hazards (Collapse, labor strife, political instability), worldwide silver production deficit since 2021, refining capacity maxed out. Feel free to add or disagree, I’m still learning. Meanwhile back in DC, well don’t go there.
So data points don’t always agree in this fast changing environment. Hard to tell where the water level is with 12’ waves.

Ask people who bought precious metals in 2013, at their last peak, and then had to wait 12 years just to break even, to see if they believe its a good investment to be buying at this peak. Regardless of the type of investment, you buy when it goes down and sell when it goes up.
