lincoln proof strike?

for 5.50 i took a shot at this ugly impaired proof..... is it? thought it would be easy, i'm leaning yes but i would not bet on it. coin looks to have had a layer of tarnish that was removed to this state. the mirror like field seems to be there but its still too covered to know for sure.

Let me say, as an error coin it would be a, Strick Thru Grease, and a Woody in my opinion. I like it thanks for sharing.

 

In my quickness to your post, I made a slight error. That would be, Struck Thru Grease not Strick, sorry.

 

It is not an error coin. It is not a proof, impaired or otherwise.

It has suffered from environmental damage and subsequent improper cleaning which is making it appear like a woody, but it is not.
