Just make sure the Indian isn't fake.
I hear there are more fakes than real ones.
    I can't tell is that a $5 Indian or a $2.5 Indian?

Can't be a $5 gold Indian if he only paid $428.00, that's way too good of a deal! :)

That's what I was thinking $5 Indians melt for around $750, but it looked bigger than a 2.5 on his finger.
Details look fuzzy o_O may what to have it authenticated...not necessarily graded but authenticated.

According to the second photo, the label says it’s a 2021 W EAGLE G$5. Am I mistaken? It looks larger than a $2.50 in the other photo but I know photos can be deceiving.

Maybe I'm missing something here @Collecting Nut let me ask. Yo @slackaction1 is that a quarter eagle Indian in your pic or a $5?

Only he can tell us. I’m simply going by the label. The price he said he paid is very low as mentioned.

I believe it's the 1/10oz. version of the $5 1908 Gold Indian coin!

Definitely looks like a $5 Indian so maybe he bought it for half price, we may never know! :D

Not asking about the $5 1/10 ounce American Eagle...that one was easy enough without reading between the lines in the slab description :p
The Indian being a Diameter of 18 mm and Weight of 4.18 grams would make it a little more than a 1/10 ounce and a 2 1/2 Indian.
The picture is like holding up the fish you just caught closer to the camera so it would look bigger :D
Nice Pickup though, I still don't have any gold Indians.

I avoid buying anything raw with a few exceptions, one buying GOLD bars at Costco
as they come directly from the PAMP factory and two buying raw bullion coins such as eagles from my LCS in which they will test the product in front of you which gives you piece of mind with the Chinese making fakes like the plague thats important.
