LordM Giveaway #124 (pick your prize) Contest status: OPEN Drawing: pending; on or after 1 May 2025 Winner: pending Shipping status: pending Winner's receipt: pending Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like. To enter: 1. Go view my Giveaway Gallery. 2. Post an entry here, stating which prize you would prefer. 3. State why you chose what you did. NOTE: That last bit is important. To qualify, you have to not only pick a prize, but also say WHY you picked it. Just a few words will do. However, if you are entering on someone else's behalf, you are not required to pick a prize or say why. Your designated proxy will get to pick their choice later, if your entry wins for them. Your prize choice need not be final. I do periodically add new prizes to the Giveaway Gallery, so if you win the drawing, you'll be given a chance to change your mind at the end, if you see a new prize you like more. I just enjoy reading everyone's initial selections up front, since it gives me an idea of what folks like. Click the pic below to go to the prize gallery. The drawing will be done via random number generator sometime on or after the date mentioned at the top of this post. The timing will depend on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the drawing. Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only further requirement is that if you win... Please post a receipt in this thread after you get the prize, so we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track). Good luck! Numismatic regards, ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM") ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ LordM Giveaway archive This contest is brought to you by Harper.
In again for a goodie. Thank you @lordmarcovan for the great contests. In for the Franklin fbl. I just like em. Here is one of my raw ones.
I'm in for this contest, and to change things up and hopefully using the power of my recently acquired 4 leaf clovers I choose the Columbus 3-coin set. First because 3 coins have to be better than 1. Then there is the aspect of using them to show how minting has evolved. Lastly because I just like commemorative coins and here are 2, count em 2 commems. Thank you LordM for you continued generosity.
Entry Post: Please enter me for the pair of silver dollars (1921 Morgan And 1935 Peace Dollar). I like the Morgan Dollar, and the peace is a little worn, but it shows it has gone through a lot of use in it's history. Thanks for the contest!
I would like to enter for the Canadian Silver Ounce with a wolf. I like silver and wolves. A perfect mix. Thank you!
Thanks Rob! I would like to try for the pair of silver dollars. As stated before, I really like the eagle on the Morgans, and it's nice to feel the weight of the dollars.
Should I win, I pass the opportunity to pick a prize to @expat . I will put $20 toward the postage . Thank you @lordmarcovan for the opportunity.
Thanks again for the contest, @lordmarcovan! I'm in again for the Roman Empire: ca. 318-320 AD bronze Æ17 of Licinius II, camp gate, Heraclea mint. As I've said and repeated, this coin would hold a special place in my heart from our Vindolanda experience. If you're ever up near Hadrian's Wall in the UK, don't forget to stop in at the Twice Brewed Inn, and have a Steak & Ale Pie and a pint of Bitter. I did! Yummm!!!
Thanks again for your generous auctions, but there were no special dates for me this time, so count me in on the 2011 Canada 5 Dollar timber wolf. Since I moved up from the States in'97, I'd like one of the neat wildlife series coins and I'll compensate.
Entry post.. I still want to be a 60 year old Cowboy!!.. So hoping for the Morgan and Peace dollars.. Harper my little bud..Thanks for the contest
I'd like to enter on @SensibleSal66's behalf for the 1873 Seated Liberty Quarter. Sal always takes time out of his day to engage in conversation, whether in the forums or individually and I have an immense appreciation of that. Hope you get it Sal, and thank you for another giveaway @lordmarcovan
