I picked up this bullion round yesterday.

Both sides reminded me of another coin I've seen on Numista, so I grabbed it. I really like the design. And compared to the other rounds in the box I looked through, it was one of the newest-looking pieces.

It's basically the same design as the 1 Dollar "Draped Bust Dollar" with Heraldic Eagle that the US made in 1798-1800. The Obverse is practically identical except the date is omitted. The Reverse design is also almost identical except for the words being different.

The "D T" on the bottom reverse is interesting though. Robert Scot was the engraver of the US coin, so as initials of the designer it should read "RS" so I'm wondering if this is a mint mark.

Anyone know more info about this bullion round?
