    I am amazed at the technology of that time. Hard to believe they could build an elaborate screw press in 16th century but were still using wooden boats well into the 19th.

    Beautiful! Thank you for the pictures. I visited Cesky Krumlov about 10 years ago, but did not see the minting exhibit. It really is a charming town, and I don't typically like touristy places.

    Amazing! I visited Prague about 10 years ago for a holiday and never left the city. I wanted to see some of the small towns around the country but fell ill with bronchitis by the 3rd day there. So ended up leaving after 7 days which was miserable! I believe I missed the trip of a lifetime by walking around in t-shirt sleeves that 1 night of 1 Nov. with the first snow falling of the year and not having been in a cold place for about 20 years by that time.
