1973 Rhodesia 1 Cent DDR

Picked this up yesterday for peanuts. Didn’t see the DDR until today. Can find any info on value / rarity. Any additional info is appreciated.

Seriously, got me a nice history lesson. Didn't know where it was. Seems like a lot of doubling going on in the 70's.....

 

World coin collectors generally don't care much about errors like this. I like Rhodesian coins though.

Nice collection. Numista tells me I have 6 coins from Rhodesia but I feel like that might be a little low.

 

Nice DDR. I will have my eye out for one now.

 

As far as I can tell they’re pretty easy to find - so far I’m 1 for 1.
