    It's a forecast for 2030. We're talking about 6% a year, compounded.

It's not unrealistic after basing for over a decade.

Forecast, Prediction, good job GoldFinger1969 you got keep coaching them up. It may not make it to the goal but what it only falls short by a few hundred still going in the right direction. It's always been a good year when its election year everything is up.

Can't eat it. Can't use at WalMart or Costco. McDonalds can't count that high. Don't need 1,075 Gallons of milk.

Might, if I had an ounce, trade for a good Bull.

    So.....

They might get there eventually. I went to a McDonalds a few months ago for the first time in years. Ordered a "Value" meal and nearly fell over when the cashier said the price :greedy:

Up another $13 early to $2,180...was up $23 earlier in the pre-morning to $2,190.

We're tracking the stock market at this time, which quite frankly I do NOT think is a good thing.

The gold price action is going up even though western based gold ETFs are seeing outflows. If sentiment changes on Wall Street, gold could see even more upward pressure.

Yes, the chart on Page 11 shows the dichotomy.

ETFs usually indicate "hot money" which is NOT what you want to see.

This move up is being driven by central bank buying (and no selling !) plus retail buying of the metal (not financial ETFs).

$3,000 by 2030. Get your Double Eagles NOW while you still can. :D

All well and good, but I'm considering taking a bit of profit. There's a coin show today, and there are usually dealers there making strong offers.

You can never distinguish a "spike" from "the start of a long-term run-up" except in hindsight, but this feels like a good time to sell some stuff that isn't numismatically interesting.

Yes, you can all come back and poke fun at me when we hit $3000/oz -- but only if prices don't fall back below $2000 before then. Deal?

No market ever moves in a straight line. Traders try to sell high and buy low. Stackers just DCA and forget about it.

It really depends on what your goals are,
I use GOLD for a way of storing wealth
my kids and grand kids will decide how
it’s spent, but if your going to cash out be
sure to shop around for the best deal as prices can very greatly.
