I'm thinking around 8. Like @Seattlite86 I like the eagle on the reverse. I just like how it looks ready to go attack something or do something else awesome. Oddly enough I still don't own a Seated coin... I need to fix that...
9.5 because I won't give anything a 10. The design is fantastic, lot's of varieties to hunt, there really isn't anything not to like about them
Probably 6. Like these more than Morgans, but they don't do anything for me unless they are bullseye toned.
3 for the moment - design does nothing for me, but I've come to find Barbers attractive and interesting, so anything is possible in the future.
I'll say 7.5 overall. Again, they're a bunch of long series, running from the 1830s to the 1870s-90s, and I don't really get a kick out of seeing a bunch of almost identical looking coins all together. They do offer several major varieties with all the arrows, rays, and stars, however, so that's a point in their favor. Type pieces are reasonably priced, but, a lot of them are way, way beyond my budget in any but the lowest grades.
I would say 7, the design is great. I have always wanted a dollar version, but they are valued so high money wise. hence I will pass on them.
6 to 9. My interest ebbs & flows a bit, but original pieces always get a look from me. Some fairly scarce pieces and Civil War dates can be had pretty reasonable if you can find them. I just look for nice circulated pieces in dates I don't have, knowing I will never have them all.
About a 6. My collection has a nicely toned dime. As you know, I like old proofs, but the price of the seated liberty proofs blew me out of the water. So far in proofs. I have a half dime, which is an affordable coin. Might go for toned business strikes for the remaining issues.
Well, they aren't busties, but they sure beat the designs that replaced them...Barbers AND Morgans. 8.85
