I went to a coin show a week ago. There were about 70 tables most of them liked the slabbed coins rather than the raw ones. A few dealers offered me 22.00 per raw ASE I had I just looked at him walked way and said no way, then one dealer did offer me 29 a piece I declined him also. This coin show was in KC and I couldn't believe some of these Dealers were from Wyoming Denver, Minnesota, and a few from surrounding states. I am assuming they bought some their collection to high cause what they were offering me wasn't what they were asking for the same coin I had. I totally understand they have to make money on but that was ridiculous I did find one dealer that wasn't decent and sold all slabbed coins to him mostly graded 70 and a few 69 but I could have got more by selling on line but then you have the Hassle packaging and so on. I did get a good education and saw allot of nice coins especially Gold and that's where it's at for me now. There were no bargain baskets or specials or junk Bullion bins. I came home with 11 hundred dollars but spent it at a White Tail banquet same night on a gun.
I'm finding it cheaper to buy rounds than to buy junk. Sometimes Austrian Philharmonics are cheaper than rounds.
