    It is indeed! At the end of that thread, I mentioned that it is 30 mm at its greatest width. I don't think I've ever seen a larger Gela tetradrachm.

    Ummm well, we certainly aren't related, for I have zero discipline (I'm kinda like the ancient coin collector that runs with scissors!!)

    I'd like to see the metapontum and larissa staters in more detail.... I love both coins, by far my favourites. Great taste you have there.

    Thanks so much...... absolutely beautiful. I don't often get coin envy, but they are something else. I don't know whether coins like this are out of my budget..... I'm checking. If they aren't, then I may be saving up for one ..... or 2. Thanks again.
