Bad Coins and Bad NGC Slabs- Not for the Faint of Heart...

Besides the no S mint mark, the rim and denticles on the obverse look wrong. But maybe it's just the lighting.

I'm still here. Still playing this game. And because of members like you I'm expanding my knowledge base nicely. Unfortunately it doesn't allay my fears when making a purchase or placing a bid. As much as I think I know, I still know I know much less than I need to know. (Say that five times fast ).

Ah. Well, they're back in the wild now going to some hapless collector online. Would have been better to buy them cheap as a learning tool.

I'd be interested to talk to that guy. It's funny that he just happened to "fall victim" to and own all those random fake coins and slabs. I could see having one in a collection. Not a collection of them. He might've been the one peddling them.
