I am new to the site. I would appreciate any information on a 1969 one dollar bill, with cutting errors. I will try to post pictures.
Good morning and welcome to CT. Enjoy! Having said that, by your description, it appears to be a $1.00 denomination printed by the US Bureau of Printing and Engraving in 1969. George Washington should be on the front of the bill and the bill should contain green serial numbers and seal. It would be called a Federal Reserve Note. Just under that should be THE UNITED STATED OF AMERICA. The reverse has the All Seeing Eye Pyramid on the left and the Eagle seal on the right. Centered is In God We Trust with the word ONE directly under it. It is legal tender good for all debts, public and private. It also sounds like your bill may not have been trimmed properly. Please post pictures for a better and more suitable answers. Also, enjoy comments like these as more will be forth coming.
At the least, please let us know a series date (1969, 1969A, 1969B, 1969C or 1969D) and a full serial number including all numbers and letters. A photo or scan of the front and back will help us determine grade and severity of a possible cutting error. Welcome to Coin Talk.
