I'm "pretty" sure that because they are in close proximity to gold now, dealers are having a hard time keeping them stocked, therefore the old adage "supply and demand". They are getting sold out as fast as they arrive and rarely stay in stock for too long. I also think most platinum is coming from Russia for the most part and with all the trouble we are having with them this may be a factor. But I always stand to be corrected.

I would concur. I haven't seen a 1oz eagle for sale in a long time. Halves are out there, but they're not abundant.

Local LCS gets the 1/10 ozt. Sometimes eagle sometimes Isle of Man type stuff. They run $30.00 over per coin. So about $150.00

MCM (Modern Coin Mart) also has some on ebay with free ship but not a lot of them. They have more private bars for sale than coins.

  10. Many bought these when platinum was much higher and do not want to sell for a loss now. TC

Recently I've picked up two 1/10 for $150 (raw) and $154 (PCGS MS69) and one 1/4 oz for $347 (raw). Would have like to pay less. : (
