do any of you have excel list for bullion series like libertads or kooks. I guess it doesn't have to be in excel. I'm just wanting to be pointed in a direction to find any free temp, eyes before I sit down and create one. Just want to track what I have and be able to see ut on my phone when I shop. I'm also interested in us coin list by series.

I have been using Excel with different tabs for different types of coins and bullion. However, I've been meaning to switch it over to an Access database with just one form for all types.

The "catalog" is a system I'm working on where I give each coin in my collection a unique number that includes the year, type info and a unique serial number. The AGW, Purch Price, Face Value, Value 2014 and Gold Content, as well as the total Gold Value, are all calculated fields.

What's your point? Do you not see the value in keeping track of what you have, what it's worth and what you paid for it?

Right now I'm doing double duty. I'm using both Bento & Excel on my iMac. Bento was a "light " database program but is no longer being developed. It still works but I'm sure one day it won't. So I'm also using Excel. I just copy and paste from Bento to Excel. I like the look of the Bento database that I created more than Excel. That's why I'm still using it.
