Probably isn't harder per say but I think the act of faking a slab is done far less than faking the coin itself
That's more of what I'm trying to say the only coins I personally buy that are not slabbed or coins that are scrap or bullion, or coins I buy directly from the mint. However I will buy a coin raw, but only if it's a screaming deal
Thanks bro. I think from now on I'll buy slabbed pandas. I might get the 2012 (still need that one) after I get a 2015.
Eminem, Check your local shops before settling on an online purchase. (I do my fair share of onlinepurchases, don't get me wrong) however, amazing deals can be found in "brick and mortar" shops. Not only that, but you get to actually SEE the item you're interested in before making a purchase. Good luck.
Thanks I only bought online because I had the gift cards I earned. Might go to a coin show this week actually.
The smallish show I attended today had only 1 dealer with Pandas. Ungraded and in mint packaging only. They wanted $25 for 2015, $30 for 2014 and $40 for 2013. Rob
Why not just buy the pandas from someone like apmex, I'd think that would be enough of a guarantee of originality?
